In somewhat of a shock move THQ has reportedly canelled the Relic Warhammer 40k MMO Dark Millenium as well as it’s entire 2014 line up. THQ were responsible for the publication of some relatively well selling titles last year including Warhammer 40K: Space Marine and some of the WWE titles.
The rumours have been circling NeoGAF today fueled by the twitter account of Kevin Dent:
I don’t think people quite understand.
This is it.
They canceled all projects targeted for 2014. They only exist right now for the purposes of trying to sell the company.
The current rumours are that THQ has offered themselves up for sale to various asian companies in order to pull itself out of this mess. However, at this point this is all speculation at this point.
There has been no comment by THQ regarding the situation but we’ll keep you updated as things progress.
